Braeside Shepherd's Hut and Stanegate Cottage are located in Hadrian's wall country on a hill above the small village of Greenhead, with stunning views of the Northumbrian countryside.
Stanegate Cottage has been imaginatively converted from the original cow byre, part of the 250 year old Bank Top farm. Our beautifully presented two-bedroom holiday let sleeps up to four people and 2 small / medium dogs. There is an enclosed courtyard to the front of the cottage with a BBQ and garden furniture. A patio area outside the French windows offers guests a perfect place for quiet relaxation on a summer's evening or light the chiminea and stargaze if it’s cooler. There is also a lockable shed for your sole use, ideal for bike storage or muddy boots! Weekly bookings only during the summer months, short breaks available November to April.
Braeside Shepherd's Hut is for guests who want to stay close to nature but with a touch of real luxury. Our shepherd's hut has it's own private garden, star gazing Arbour and fire pit with cooking grill. The hut accommodates 2 people and is a pet free glamping experience. Inside this ultramodern, luxurious shepherd's hut you will find all you need for your perfect short or long break - a small but beautifully formed kitchen with induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge, a king size bed, shower room, free wifi and more. Min stay 1 night!
