Birdoswald Cheese

Traditional hand made cheese made with fresh warm milk from our small herd of Aryshire cows. The farm is certified organic with the Soil Association with high standards of animal welfare and food ethics. Conservation farm with wild flower meadows, hedges and dry stone walls supporting lots of wildlife. Walks around the farm with fine views over Hadrian's Wall and Lakeland Fells. Come and watch the cheese making from the café/farm shop. Available from the farm, farmers markets and local shops.
