The Hideaway Huts at Stable Cottage Paddock

Whether you’re looking for a modern farmhouse Bed & Breakfast or a traditional self-catering cottage, Kellah provides comfortable accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting. Kellah has been a small hamlet since 1402 and has been farmed by our family since 1849. We are a working hill farm, breeding beef cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep. Our two self-catering holiday cottages were previously miner’s smallholdings and still have many of the original features. We accept pets in the cottages but NOT in the B&B.The newly-converted, self-contained Bed & Breakfast unit was previously ‘The Pitman’s Arms’ public house, before its closure in the late 1800’s. We serve both continental and traditional farmhouse cooked breakfasts, using all locally sourced produce including our own free-range eggs (laid each morning by Alison,Muriel's,Miranda's & Vera) Kellah Farm has been awarded a"Dark-sky Award" in 2014.
