We are small organic farm with a unique location on Hadrian's Wall. The farm contains one of the best preserved sections of Wall still standing, including 2 turrets and the remains of a Roman bridge, and the Hadrian's Wall National Trail goes past our doorstep. We are an ideal base for those looking to explore the natural and historical riches of the area. Willowford Farm B&B has a unique location on one of the longest unbroken stretches of Hadrian's Wall still remaining. If you want Hadrian's Wall accommodation, you can't get much closer!
In 2007 we converted one of the farm byres into 5 en-suite bedrooms and a dining room - what had been the milking parlour, cart house, grain store and pig holes became guest rooms! Of course, they are done to a very high standard and provide an ideal balance of comfort and facilities. We have range of single, twin, double and family rooms.
They are also full of character with exposed wooden beams, local Westmorland slate flooring and antique furniture. The rooms are very energy efficient as well, using underfloor heating and being well insulated with Thermafleece sheep's wool.
Why not relax in our spacious, comfortable rooms with a cup of Fairtrade tea, coffee, hot chocolate or fruit tea and then indulge in a hot bath or shower using our handmade soaps - perfect after a long day on the Trail.
