Haltwhistle Walking Festival

Haltwhistle Walking Festival. This twice yearly festival, held in the Spring & Autumn of each year, is organised by a group of enthusiastic local volunteers who want to share their love of the area with others. All walks are guided by trained leaders who aim to provide interesting routes and good information about the area in a friendly and sociable atmosphere. There are 29 walks and events in the Spring Festival ranging from a 2 mile Walk for Health to a 3 day walk from Hexham to Haltwhistle via Blanchland and Burn Tongues totalling 42 miles.
