Layside Bed & Breakfast

Layside is a boutique new B&B offering high quality accommodation with a unique and unrivalled view of Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding countryside. Layside is gloriously positioned in one of the most beautiful locations in the North of England, providing visitors with a base from which they can enjoy a vast range of memorable activities. Situated in the heart of Northumberland, guests can enjoy some of the best views of the Tyne Valley and Hadrian's Wall country, including the Sycamore Gap, which famously featured in the Kevin Costner movie 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves' and was voted tree of the year in 2016.

Layside has been developed to offer a high quality accommodation, each room has it's own access and terrace from which to enjoy the stunning views. A bespoke Breakfast Hamper will be delivered to your door featuring a selection of pastries with jam/home made Nutella, warmed breakfast muffin with pinwheel Cumbrian sausage and local free-range egg or the Layside breakfast cassoulet. Hot evening meals are also available on request, cooked in the farmhouse kitchen using local produce and delivered to your door. Layside is fully licensed so guests can enjoy a range of local ales (wine/prosecco/soft drinks also available).

Dogs are also welcome at Layside and will be provided with dog mat, towel, food and water bowls.
